Musical Director and Conductor
Mr. Waters earned his Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees from Georgia State University, and has done post-graduate studies in choral conducting and vocal performance at the University of Georgia. He served as Assistant Conductor of the Georgia State University Concert Choir ('70-'73) and assistant to the director of the University of Georgia men's Glee Club ('85-'87). Roger is listed in the 1981 and 1983 editions of Outstanding Young Men of America; the 2002 edition of Who's Who in America; the 2004 edition of Who's Who in the World; and the 2004 edition of One Thousand Great Americans published by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. He resides in Conyers, GA with his wife, Sandra. They have a son, daughter, and five grandchildren.
Steven E. Traylor
Mr. Traylor was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Steve received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1979. He became a performing member of the Guild in the Fall of 1996 and currently serves as Chair and Treasurer of the board. He began full-time music ministry in 1988, and joined the staff at Oxford Baptist Church in February of 2005 as the Music and Senior Adults Director. In addition to directing the Sanctuary Choir, Steve also leads the Kidspiration Children’s Choirs and coordinates the Senior Adult Ministries. Steve is a gifted pianist and enjoys singing.
